BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Wow what a busy week it has been for me.

What I thought would be a quite week getting through some furniture I am wanting to re-vamp for myself it was not to be lol

I got a wonderful truck load of solid timber furniture delivered from a client and I was so excited to transform it all.  On the truck was a day bed, buffet hutch, tv cabinet, hall tables, side tables, coffee table and mirror on stand.  This all arrived on Tuesday afternoon and I gave myself a timeframe for it all to be re-vamped and back with the client by the following Monday at the latest.  Well I have certainly impressed myself as it is only Thursday and yes they are all done ready to be loaded up and delivered.  Check back later for the before and after shots.

Hope she will be pleased!

TEAK TIMBER HEXAGON DISPLAY CABINET

I was lucky enough to find this gorgeous piece of furniture.  I just loved the shape and style.

This solid timber and glass teak display cabinet was in need of a shabby chic makeover.

Loved doing it. It took me one day to complete from start to finish and sold the next day after being advertised.

WHAT A MONSTER OF A HUTCH

I have been searching for one of these for a long time for myself to place in my study and finally I found it. I knew it would look even better once I shabby chic'd it up!

It is made of solid teak and was extremely rustic as it has been hand made. The doors were not even and bowed a little but I think it gave it even more character.

I wanted to give the hutch a subtle white colour and lightly sand the areas which I felt would stand out.  After 2 days of hard work MY master piece was finally finished and ready for the study finally. After much a struggle getting it in as it comes as one big piece what do you know......it does not fit through the door just my luck. To much of my disappointment I have to sell my beloved piece of furniture.

After four hours of advertising my monster hutch it was sold to Sue and thankfully she loves it the same as me so very glad it went to a great home :)

Awaiting her photo's as she is going to add a splash of green on it to go in with her decor

NICOLE'S RUSTIC TIMBER TABLE

Nicole brought me this gorgeous chunky timber coffee table which had been extremely well used.  She wanted to add a pop of colour to her living area so we decided to paint it "Mitchell Blue" which I just love that colour.

I decided not to sand the table as it has been quite beaten on the top but it just gave it more character and the wrought iron handles certainly complimented the table.  Delivered it to Nicole and it looked great in her living area.

Hope she likes it as much as I loved doing it!!!!
